These terms govern the use of this website and the car battery replacement, roadside and garage services provided by Sport City Battery in Dubai Sports City. Booking a service means accepting them.

The service we provide

Sport City Battery supplies and fits vehicle batteries and provides related roadside and garage services at a location you nominate, or at our workshop. Services are provided 24/7, every day, subject to van availability and to safe access at the location.

We reserve the right to decline a job where the location is unsafe to work in, where access is refused by a building or its security, or where the work cannot be carried out to a proper standard on site. Where we decline, we say so before dispatching and you are charged nothing.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this site start from AED 249 for a fitted battery and vary by case size, capacity and technology. The price that applies is the fitted price we quote you for your specific vehicle before we dispatch.
The quoted fitted price includes the battery, the callout, the fitting, terminal cleaning, battery registration where the vehicle requires it, and collection of the old battery.
There is no callout fee and no fitting fee. Testing your existing battery and charging system is free whether or not it results in a sale.
Prices are in UAE dirhams and include VAT where it applies. A quote is valid for the day it is given.

Arrival times

Arrival times quoted on this site and on the phone, including the 25-minute figure, are estimates based on typical traffic and van position. They are not guarantees. Where a delay is unavoidable we will tell you rather than let you wait.

Payment

Payment is due on completion, on site. We accept card, cash, Apple Pay, and the instalment services Tabby and Tamara.
Instalment payments are contracts between you and the provider. Their terms, eligibility checks and any charges are theirs, not ours.
An invoice is issued for every job and is your proof of warranty.

Warranty

Batteries we supply carry a manufacturer's warranty of between 12 and 24 months from the date of fitting, depending on the product. The applicable term is stated on your invoice.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and premature capacity loss. Where a claim is accepted we replace the battery and we come to you to do it - there is no charge for the return visit.
The warranty does not cover: damage from an accident, fire or flood; deep discharge caused by lights left on, a vehicle left unused, or an untreated parasitic drain; damage caused by a faulty charging system that we advised you to repair; physical damage, incorrect terminal connection or tampering by a third party; or commercial use beyond the product's rating.
Where testing shows the fault is the vehicle's charging system rather than the battery, the battery warranty does not apply. We will show you the readings.
Labour on garage services is warranted for 90 days or 5,000 km, whichever comes first. Parts carry their manufacturer's warranty.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel a booking at any time before the van arrives, free of charge.
If you cancel after the van has arrived but before work starts, no charge applies for a battery job.
Once a battery has been fitted, the supply is complete. Faulty goods are dealt with under the warranty above; a change of mind within 48 hours, with the battery unused and undamaged, is handled as a return less a restocking charge.
Deposits taken for special-order parts are refundable only where the part has not been ordered.

Your responsibilities

Give us accurate vehicle details. A wrong model or year can mean the wrong battery arrives.
Make sure the vehicle is legally and safely accessible, and that you have permission for work to be carried out where it is parked.
Tell us about aftermarket electrical work - trackers, alarms, amplifiers, dash cams - before we start, because they affect both diagnosis and the fit.
Remove valuables from the vehicle. We are not responsible for personal items left in a car we work on.

Liability

We hold public liability insurance and we are responsible for damage we cause through our own negligence. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, for consequential loss such as missed appointments or lost income, or for data or settings held in vehicle modules where those are lost despite the use of a memory saver.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Old batteries and waste

Batteries removed by us become our property and are transferred to a licensed recycler. Their scrap value is reflected in the price you are quoted. A transfer note is available on request.
