It applies to this website and to the phone, WhatsApp and on-site services we provide across Dubai Sports City.

Sport City Battery is a mobile car battery replacement and vehicle service business operating in Dubai Sports City, United Arab Emirates. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.

What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, phone number, and email address if you send one.
- Vehicle details: make, model, year, and plate number where you provide it, so we can identify the correct battery and log a warranty.
- Location details: the address, building or road where you want the vehicle attended. We do not track your device's location in the background.
- Service records: the work carried out, the parts fitted, the test results and the invoice.
- Website usage: pages viewed, the referring page, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type, and how you interacted with the pages.
- Communications: the content of WhatsApp messages, contact form submissions, and call records where a call is recorded for quality purposes.
Why we collect it
- To quote for, schedule and carry out the service you asked for.
- To identify the correct battery or part for your vehicle.
- To honour warranties, which are logged against the vehicle and the invoice.
- To take payment and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to us.
- To respond when you contact us, and to follow up on a quote you asked for.
- To understand which pages and adverts bring us enquiries, so we spend the advertising budget sensibly.
- To meet legal obligations, including hazardous-waste transfer records for the batteries we collect.
Cookies and advertising

- Authorities, insurers or legal advisers where we are required to share information by law or to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Service and invoice records are kept for as long as the warranty runs and then for the period our accounting and tax obligations require. Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted within twelve months. Website analytics data is retained in aggregated form.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to its use for marketing, or withdraw a consent you have given. Ask on +971 54 309 2254 or by WhatsApp and we will action it within thirty days.
If you tell us to stop contacting you for marketing purposes, we will, immediately and permanently.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Access to service and customer records is limited to the staff who need it to do the work. We do not store card numbers - payments are handled by our payment providers on their own systems.
