What does a voltmeter say?
12.6V rested is healthy. 12.2V is half charged. Below 12.0V will not start a hot engine, and below 10.5V under crank means replace it.

No. We hold power to the car with a memory saver while the battery is out, so the ECU, radio, clock and window calibration all survive the swap.
Do you take the old battery away?
Always, and its scrap value comes off your bill. It goes to a licensed recycler with a transfer note.
Do you fit AGM and start-stop batteries?
Yes, and we register them to the car where the model requires it. Fitting a standard battery to a start-stop car is the fastest way to kill both the battery and the start-stop function.
